How Sessions Work

In-person sessions
In-person sessions can take place at the Crossroads office. Some sessions may also be arranged in a relaxed public setting (like a coffee shop) when appropriate.

Virtual sessions
Not local—or simply prefer your cozy space? Many services can be offered virtually, giving you support wherever you are.

Individual sessions
One-on-one support with Jen, tailored to your goals and needs.

Group sessions
Relationship, family, and small-group coaching may be offered in-person or virtually. Group location/logistics are typically discussed during a strategy/clarity call so everyone feels comfortable and supported.

Workplace support
Workplace sessions can be provided on-site or virtually. These services are designed to support communication, well-being, and growth in a way that matches your team’s goals.


General Life Coaching FAQs

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a supportive, forward-focused partnership. It helps you get clear about what you want, work through what’s been keeping you stuck, and build real momentum toward changes that feel aligned with your life and values.

What is a life coach?

A life coach helps you explore where you are, where you want to go, and what needs to shift in between. You’ll be supported with questions, tools, and accountability—without judgment and without pressure.

How is life coaching different from therapy or counseling?

Life coaching is typically focused on the present and future—goals, patterns, decisions, and action steps. Therapy often focuses more deeply on mental health concerns, trauma processing, and clinical diagnosis/treatment. If you are navigating severe mental health symptoms, we encourage you to seek support from a licensed mental health professional.

How long is each coaching session?

Coaching sessions are typically about one hour, unless otherwise noted or agreed upon.

How often will I meet with my coach?

Some clients prefer weekly sessions to keep momentum. Others may meet more (or less) depending on goals, season of life, and support needs. We’ll find a rhythm that feels effective and sustainable for you.

Do I have to sign an agreement/contract to receive services?

You will be asked to sign an agreement so you fully understand how the coaching relationship works (session expectations, confidentiality, scheduling, and payment terms if applicable). We want you to feel clear and comfortable before we begin.

Where will I meet with my coach?

Sessions may be in-office, virtual, or (when appropriate) in a comfortable public setting.

What are holistic health services?

Holistic health support looks at the whole picture of your well-being—daily routines, stress load, mindset, self-care patterns, and how your life is affecting your energy and body.

What can holistic health services help with?

This is a great option if you’re feeling run down, overwhelmed, out of balance, or ready to build healthier routines that actually fit your real life—without shame, guilt, or perfectionism.

What happens in a holistic health session?

We’ll talk through what you’re experiencing, what you’ve tried, what you need most right now, and what sustainable support could look like. You’ll leave with clarity and “next steps” that feel doable.

Reiki FAQ's

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”) is a gentle, non-invasive energy-balancing practice used to support relaxation, stress reduction, and a sense of emotional and energetic reset. Reiki is not a religion and is used by all people regardless of race, religion or gender.

What happens during a Reiki session?

Reiki sessions are calm and restorative. During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed, and the practitioner works with your energy field in a way that supports balance and deep relaxation. The practitioner gently places their hands just above different parts of your body.

What will I feel during a Reiki session?

Everyone’s experience is unique. Some people feel warmth, tingling, lightness, emotional release, or deep calm. Others simply feel more grounded afterward.

Can Reiki replace medical treatment?

No. Reiki is not a substitute for medical care. If you have symptoms of illness, please see a medical professional. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment.

Sound Healing / Sound Bathing FAQs

What is Sound Healing / Sound Bathing?

Sound healing uses vibration and frequency (often through instruments like bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and tones) to support relaxation and nervous-system calm.

What should I expect during a Sound Bath?

You’ll settle into a comfortable position (seated or lying down, depending on the event/session format). The intention is deep rest, energetic clearing, and a gentle reset.

Is Sound Healing offered one-on-one or in groups?

Sound healing may be offered as a private session and/or through group events like sound bath circles.

Aromatherapy FAQs

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy uses essential oils to support emotional wellness, stress regulation, and a sense of energetic uplift or grounding.

Do I need to know about essential oils before my session?

Not at all. If aromatherapy is part of your service, we’ll guide you through what’s being used and why.

What if I'm sensitive to scents?

Please let us know ahead of time. We can often adjust the approach (lighter oils, different application methods, or skipping scent-based elements).

Workshops, Circles, and Monthly Challenges FAQs

What are the monthly workshops and challenges?

These are group experiences designed to support growth, healing, and consistency—often around themes like self-care, emotional resilience, mindset shifts, energetic cleansing, and manifestation.

Are events in-person or online?

Many events are offered both online and in-office, depending on the month and the theme.

How do I sign up?

Pricing, Cancellations, and Rescheduling FAQs

Where can I find pricing?

Pricing is not listed on this Help Center page. Due to the number of services offered and personalized programs, we discuss this during our Strategy Session and/or service proposal. If you would like "ballpark figures", feel free to contact us directly.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
